On a slightly more serious note - if your planning on going out to buy your first electric guitar, here's a few brief pointers to help you.
Fender Stratocaster: a very versatile instrument with a 5-way pickup system. Great for many different styles of music from Pop to Rock.
Gibson Les Paul: Excellent guitar for Rock and heavier styles and also a brilliant Blues instrument. 3-way pickup configuration, not as versatile as the Strat but great sustain and noise-free wallop!
Ibanez: Excellent instruments brought by Ibanez - originally known as a "copies" specialist, they now have a great range of guitars which are truly unique - including the wonderful Ibanez Jem design as used by Steve Vai.
Also Ibanez guitars are used these days by many famous players including Joe Satriani, Nuno Bettencourt and Frank Gambale.
Fender Telecaster: Great guitar for Country style. Only 2 pickups in the standard model but perfect for laid back and dirty sounds. Great for Blues too if slightly limited in sounds but what it does, it does perfectly. Worth investing in the more expensive models.
Yamaha: Good range of electrics and a dedicated workhorse of a guitar. Some good innovations and not expensive as a rule.
